Dr. Pooriya Torkaman earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 2015. Before moving to Canada, he practiced general dentistry for seven years, providing a wide range of dental treatments including restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, oral surgery, fixed prosthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Torkaman has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including direct composite restorations, veneers, and smile enhancement. His approach focuses on careful treatment planning, attention to detail, and helping patients understand their treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their oral health.

After completing the Canadian dental equivalency and licensing process, Dr. Torkaman became licensed to practise dentistry in British Columbia. He continues to expand his clinical knowledge through continuing education, with a focus on restorative, cosmetic, and comprehensive general dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Torkaman enjoys fitness, outdoor activities, and exploring British Columbia.
