Dr. Chan grew up in Vancouver and completed his undergraduate studies in UBC. He moved to the United States and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in Minnesota. He then returned to Canada and has been practicing around the Lower Mainland.

During his time off, he enjoys hiking, playing badminton, and learning new dessert recipes.
